time wasting
i think i spent about 2 hours playing
worms world party last nite. a total waste of perfectly good studying time...but i was on a killing spree. i was playing single player deathmatch games against the computer n i kept winning....until i lost. n it was already almost 11.30 so i went out n watched tv for a while before going to bed.
i just saw the trailer for
charlie and the chocolate factory. johnny depp is soo cool!!!! his facial expressions r really comical. he's so funny! "chewing gum is really gross. chewing gum i hate the most." lol. forgive me for gushing over him. haha. n the song is catchy too. willy wonka, willy wonka, the amazing chocolateer; willy wonka, willy wonka, everybody give a cheer!

van decided to go to subang n stay over last nite. she tried to tempt me to go with her but i was too lazy. so i watched
edward scissorhands(1990) on her computer. it's a very
very good movie. i think i've watched it twice before but it's still good. very touching. if u haven't watched it, u should go and download it or smth. johnny depp's a great actor. u can really feel for poor edward. i'm looking forward to watching

jeng haw, van n i had dim sum yesterday without kok chung. today he managed to convince everyone else(there were 8 of us) to have dim sum so we had dim sum again. the wind was blowing really strongly when we got back n the elevators wouldn't open so we decided to climb up. i gave up on the 11th floor n tried the lift. it was working so i took it to the 28th floor n waited for jeng haw who had the keys. he n kong made it to the 20th floor before trying the lift. haha.

last nite, me, van, naz n angeline went to watch the very very underpublicised drama club play. we were the only pharmacy ppl there. the play was.......ok. a bit lame, but oklah. at least we laughed. boris the pharmacy girls lover was one of the lead actors. the play started half an hour late. van n i were afraid we mite miss the msian idol kuching auditions. we left rite after the play ended n naz came n watched tv with us. the kch auditions were disappointing...we din see anyone we knew n most of the contestants they showed were gay-ish guys who couldn't sing. n we saw places we didn't know existed in kch. like some crab burger place. we've been away from home too long....... :(

fun day
yesterday, i went to watch
star wars with alvin, chian yong n norman at midvalley. it was a 3.30 movie so we had nth to do for a few hours coz we got there before 1. norman wanted to have lunch(the rest of us already ate) so he went to the foodcourt with cy while me n alvin went to try san francisco coffee. word of advice: don go there. the coffee sucks. anyways, norman ate really fast so he n cy soon joined alvin n i. alvin wanted to steal a cup to add to his collection of stolen stuff which include a bottle of tabasco sauce from pizza hut n some cutlery from starbucks, i think...dunno wad else. so after finishing my coffee, alvin got some plain water n i rinsed out my cup n dried it. i was sposed to put it in my bag n walk off with it but cy offered to do it so i let him. haha
spent my time in mph before the movie. bought 3
indian in the cupboard books for my brother. dat's another good series to read. i miss my bro..he's growing up without me.. my mom sez he's grown 2 n a half inches since i've been gone. :(
so we watched the movie. but not before we were bombarded by lame advertisements like the gatsby one: if u're happy n u know it clap ur hair. lol. the
batman trailer looks interesting. but batman's not cute. hehe.
the lion, the witch n the wardrobe trailer looks really good. :) anyways, the movie started at 3.50 n ended at 6.
the revenge of the sith is not bad. better than the second movie. i kinda pitied anakin but i think he's stupid. hehe
norman went home after the movie n the 3 of us had dinner at kim gary. we were served by a cute waiter named hoe who spoke canton. he seemed quite nice, smiling n all. we cudn't understand most of wad he was saying tho. haha
it was raining when we got home so i stayed at alvin n cy's apartment for a while. drank a bit of rum again. looks like it's going to last them at least 2 weeks. cy was in their room playing starcraft. the characters walk kinda funny. then i suggested we play dota. they din have internet so we played one on one. at first it was me against alvin. our heroes were chosen randomly. i got the pandaren brewmaster. quite powerful. lots of life. haha. alvin got some snakish green n yellow hero. my kills n deaths almost equalized alvin's but i lost anyway. then it was still raining so i played the 2nd game with cy. i chose the centaur n cy got the faceless void. then the 2 of them ganged up against me. not fair!! cy bought some teleporting boots n they were discussing which items to buy n stuff. alvin helped me a bit n their housemate alex came back later n helped me a bit too but i lost anyway. i din even get one kill! :( hahaha. but i had fun anyway.
got back home just before 11. haha :) study break? wad study break? i'm on holiday..

mini drinking party
i got a msg from alvin today while i was in CAL lab inviting me over to have a drink with him coz he hadn't had a drink with me in a long time. at first i tot he meant like yam cha so i was wondering if he sent the msg to the wrong person coz i don remember yam cha-ing with him before. but when i got to his apartment he was really excited n then i saw the bottle of rum, 40%. haha. not dat we drink a lot...just once last yr when we decided to try some stuff i can't remember the names of...n at david's bday party...n at tgif during my fake birthday...n at last yr's sad class bbq when it was raining. but not much. i've never gotten drunk before. i'm still a good girl. haha.
he put some ice in a cup n poured in rum til abt a quarter of the cup. then i tried it. bitter. then he added coke n it was better. haha. so we talked for a while n his roommate came out n chatted a bit before leaving to play basketball with kong. actually i was the only one drinking coz both of them already drank. the rum's sposed to last them a week. wasn't a drinking party really, but nice of him to invite me. hehe. had a look at the room dat wud probably be mine in july. it's smaller than my current room n smaller than cvoon's room even but it costs more. :( oh well, as long as i get out of this filthy place.

the creation of monsters
once upon a time, 2 innocent little bunnies were brought into this world by their mother bunny. however, their owner separated them n decided to sell the babies in the tuesday nite market at sri petaling. coincidentally, A and B were strolling along at the market during that fateful nite when A caught sight of the rabbits. A decided to buy one of them n convinced B to buy the other.
so they brought the rabbits back home to their apartment on the 28th floor without the consent of their other housemates n bought a huge cage for their new pets. oh, the little creatures were adorable. but A and B live in an
apartment. where would the rabbits be able to run about? no problem, they can just run abt the whole apartment. after all, the cage is too big for them n they can keep escaping anyway. but what abt their faeces and urine? no problem there either. they can just do their business wherever they please, even on ppl's shoes and on the cleaning utensils. and the cage has to be placed in the middle of the living room because the poor rabbits might get cold if left out on the balcony. but what abt the sawdust all over floor? after all, one of the tenants is asthmatic. oh it's ok, just as long as the rabbits r comfortable. and what if the rabbits r hot? simple, they shud have their own little air conditioner. so A and B buy a can of drink n freeze it. then they place the can in the rabbits' cage as their mini air cond. brilliant idea! the can of drink can be used over n over again by putting it in the freezer when it is no longer cold. but what abt all the food in the fridge? don worry, the can is clean. after all, the can is rinsed with water before being placed in the freezer again. all the germs and bacteria will be gone.
and thus, 2 innocent creatures were transformed into little monsters who r hated by all the apartment tenants except A and maybe B. for B has also gotten sick of the rabbits n is neglecting them. but A's love for the rabbits will never die; except maybe if they do their business all over his room....
dammit
i have discovered a possible reason for being called an agressive fooser - i say dammit every time i lose the ball or can't catch it. which is pretty often. n i stamp my foot sometimes too. haha. like i'm throwing a tantrum or smth. then naz made fun of me. :P khai yong made lansi shots today - looking at me while shooting. but none(or mebe only one) of them went in. haha.

i played my 2nd n 3rd games of dota today. i was free kill for all. but i had fun. at least i killed naz once. haha. i had the misfortune of running into kah wei half a million times so he kept pawning me. kah wei u meanie!! ahahaha. khai yong was unstoppable n godlike n owning n all. one day i shall own him. n beat him in foosball too. lol.
oh, van told me a medic guy sed i play foosball very agressively. haha. do i really? or do i just laugh too loud? hehe. mebe i shud try to be more calm n composed. n dignified. hahah
one of the rabbits urinated on my shoe. kok chung did not care at all. arghhh. u will never know the joys of living with rabbits until u move into this apartment.

wahahahah physio is over!!!! the question went smth like this: "u're sitting in masjid jamek waiting for the lrt. when it comes, someone rushing from the opposite direction bumps into u n steps on ur left leg(yes, leg, not foot). explain wad happens blablabla smth abt including vision, reflex n pain." ok, reflex n pain i can write some crap. but vision??!! u see lots of things before, during, n after the leg injury. wad the hell r we sposed to explain anyway? it's not like we were closing our eyes n only opened them when we got stepped on. anyways, 5 minutes before time was up, i ran out of crap to spew out so i looked around n saw ppl flipping thru their multitude of pages as compared to my one lonely page. yay. n then after the test khai yong tells me we need an intro n a conclusion - neither of which was included in my lovely one-page essay. yippee for me. but for some reason, i don really care. mebe coz van sez only a few seniors passed their first physio test. haha. n there's still the degree exam. altho dat mite be really hard too... i really need to get rid of my cudn't-care-less attitude. my mom alwez scolds me for it. hm..
lab was boring. lots of waiting for insufficient equipment again. dr kang commented on wee yeaw's(sori, dunno how to spell) spiked hair n how it mite poke someone's eye out. smth i heard while waiting for cuvettes in the preparation room: dr kang waxes his car abt once every 2 or 3 weeks. i wonder wad car he drives..

i bought the myojo sarawak kolok mee to try. doesn't taste like kolo mee. i think it tastes pretty much like the myojo meepoh goreng except the meepoh is a little bit spicy.
i wonder how many marks i will get for monday's physio test by just studying from the module notes...did dr kang say borderline pass, or borderline fail? at this rate, i don think i have time to read vander.
van can burp n cry at will. the latter is scary. when she did it n turned to me, i felt like i had made her cry. haha.

i skipped my lectures today coz i was too lazy to wake up just for physical chem. was sposed to go to the library to study with van but i ended up spending 4 hours changing my template so there's no more point going to the lib coz van's coming home soon anyway. just posting this to make sure my blog's ok. smth still seems to be wrong...

i played my first game of dota today! haha. i watched my ex-housemates play before so i wanted to try too. i used medusa coz i heard dat it's gud. so it was me n nazurah against khai yong while ee lynn n van watched. he sed the hero he used(smth dat cud turn into a bear) was lousy but he trashed us anyway. i kept getting pawned but i think i killed him twice. muahaha. thx for giving me chances. :) dota!! then we went back to imu to foos but the foosball table is spoilt again so we played with an imaginary ball for a while. we were like "nice pass" "nice block" "score!". haha damn sad.
i think i'm getting sick. i blame pharmacist ng for spreading disease!! get well soon to everyone he infected. n to him as well. n me. :P (haha nolar. don feel bad abt it)
i planned to print out my physical chem. notes today but i cudn't get 4 slides to fit on one paper so i'll try again when i learn how to do it. any1 know how to print 4 slides in one page for acrobat reader?

went jogging with jeng haw in the park nearby just now. actually we were mostly just walking coz i was in such bad shape. my legs started itching like mad after i ran a few meters. this alwez happens after i don't exercise for a long time. anyways, we found a shorter way to Carrefour. we had to cross a bridge with huge puddles of water tho(it was raining earlier). then i waved at a passing lrt but i think there were
only abt 3 ppl inside n they din see me. hahaha. n we
stood under the lrt bridge to see how loud it wud be but it was pretty soft. then we walked to the top of the hill where i climbed into the globe for a while just for fun. when we got back down, we met some of jeng haw's frens n he treated us all to ice cream. i tried the nestle trophy coz the ice cream vendor sed it was gud. i don think it's ath special tho. just normal vanilla ice cream with chocolate coating.
i just tried tim tam too. yum! it's not too sweet like the mars bar. thanks shieve! :)
