1st on-call

i just finished a week of being on-call. i'm free now! no more anxiously waiting for calls and doing stupid tdm on non-compliant patients. when on-call, we have to answer doctor's queries and run tests on blood samples to check drug levels (tdm). and because we prps are slaves, we are on-call while the frps are 2nd-call eventhough we are totally noob.

my week started off slow with only 2 queries from monday to friday and i thought i was so lucky to get this week. then the weekend came and i had a total of 11 tdms to do which took me 10 hours. but the stupid rule is that no matter how many hours on-call you do, you can only get maximum 8 hours time off. damn stupid whoever invented this rule. so unfair. and there were these drs who wasted my time by saying they were sending the sample but took ages to do it and one sample wasn't even taken at the correct time so i cannot calculate anything.

and there was this bloody rude doctor in a&e who really pissed me off. he was totally rude to everyone. i went there to collect a sample which was taking ages to be given to me. so i was just standing at the counter and he was there writing a prescription. he was convinced that the pharmacy would reject his prescription so the nurse asked him to call the pharmacy and ask, but he said it's not his job.
nurse (who got annoyed trying to layan him): there's a pharmacist here. why don't you ask her.
me (trying to be helpful eventhough i was stressed myself and didn't even know what's wrong with his lousy prescription): if you need a specialist's signature you can call him and ask him to promise to sign the prescription.
rude dr: it's not my job to call anyone. it's my job to see patients and prescribe. i cannot deal with this. if the pharmacy rejects the prescription, i don't care.
me (freaking annoyed but still trying to help): what's wrong with your prescription?
rude dr: *ignores me*
so i took the prescription from the patient but couldn't tell what was wrong with it so i just told the patient to go collect from the pharmacy. stupid dr. he think he's the only one on-call meh. i'm also on-call. i'm also stressed. people wasting my time taking ages to give me sample after requesting me to do tdm. at least i was polite and tried to be helpful. screw him.
