this week

i dispensed reconstituted antibiotic syrup without telling the patient to keep it in the fridge. and there were three bottles for her (or her child actually) to take..

i met (dr) ej fong who taught us biology for a few weeks in form 5 while he was waiting for his stpm results. he's currently in the paediatric oncology ward which is supplied by sat2 where i'm working for two weeks. i was sitting down when he came into the pharmacy and he remembered me even though he couldn't recall my name. "i know you...from 5b right? tall, long straight hair, quite quiet one.." haha.

the frps want us to be able to jab ourselves with the insulin pens to demonstrate to the patients that it doesn't hurt. :(

have i mentioned how much i hate my period? hate hate hate hate hate. today was probably the worst one. i puked but it still hurt so i took 2 panadol but it started to be really painful and i puked again. was in bed til 2 smth by which time it hurt less but i felt unwell from staying in bed for so long. had some porridge. then it hurt again at dinner time so i took another panadol and prochlorperazine for my nausea. :((

yea they made us jab ourselves too. hansel squealed like a little girl and julian hypo-ed because he accidentally injected humulin r into himself while demo-ing to a patient. he thought it was a placebo. haha.
