Nonsensical Nothings: February 2009

dyed hair

i just dyed my hair n it's too light!!! i wanted a darker colour coz it looks more natural and i thought it'll be less obvious when the roots grow out. but's it's so light i will probably have to dye it again soon. oh noooooooooo. i don't want to keep dyeing my hair!! i chose some reddish brown ash colour. it looked quite dark when i chose it but i dunno is it my hair absorbs the colour too well or they gave me the wrong colour or it was bad lighting or what but now it's too light!!! please tell me it will grow darker in time!!

before i've even received my first paycheck, i've already spent rm430 on new lenses for my glasses (just the lenses! i didn't even change the frame! my power is so high that it's so expensive. wait til my contact lenses arrive then have to pay another few hundred. and also because my power is so high, everything no stock and take so long to arrive. more than a month already and i just got my glasses yesterday.), rm199 on a new modem+wireless router and another few hundred on other stuff since i started working. my mom's gonna claim back from me when i get my pay. so pain to spend my own money. haha.

anyway...yes i'm finally online on my laptop!! i shall see you guys on msn again. :)

oh, and i didn't get to change my on-call to next week. i feel very stupid la. my friend said it usually takes about 3 hours to learn tdm (therapeutic drug monitoring). i've been there 3.5 hours already and i'm still not done. have to continue on monday. :(

i'm on call next week!! so scary. i don't know anything. actually they assigned me the week after next but that will be my first week in ipd and they say ipd is scary so i changed to next week when it will be my 2nd week in compounding where there is not much to do and can sleep. we have to change shoes before going into compounding and they provide crocs. haha.

singapore

for chinese new year, my family went to singapore for 4 days. we went through johor coz kuching-singapore flights are at night and it would be a waste to arrive there and just go to sleep in the hotel.

we crossed selat tebrau on the johor-singapore causeway and these are the water pipes supplying singapore with water from malaysia

the singapore immigration checkpoint. the way to singapore was smooth but there was a jam from singapore going to johor coz malaysian immigration is just so efficient.

we went shopping a bit then we went to the night safari where there was a performance by sarawakian natives. haha. no animal pictures coz it was too dark and flash photography was not allowed.
