Nonsensical Nothings

i'm wondering what is the point of me being ball rep when some of my batchmates insist on booking tables for the ball through someone else when they're supposed to go through me. i wouldn't mind if it went smoothly, but there are problems. the list for 2 tables goes from her to the treasurer, then to the president, then to me. then i have to ask them to rearrange themselves(23 people), with 3 people joining other tables, in order to fit 2 tables which seat 10. (sorry if you're confused) and when they manage to do that, instead of giving the list to me, they pass it to her again. so now the president has to ask the treasurer to pass it back to me so i can fill in the form for tables from my batch. what is the point of making us go around in circles?? sheesh.
