cny in singapore

went to singapore with my family (minus my brother) on the first day of cny. a lot of shops were closed but we walked around and looked at some of the new shopping centers where we can't afford things anyway.

and when there aren't many people around, u can take photos with the displays. these were at orchard central.

it was my sister's idea put bunny ears

dating in the park
nobody to date :(
there was a flight simulator place which cost more than $100 to experience it but the guy let us look inside

we went to universal studios on the second day. mostly just walked around. only went for a few attractions coz my parents also wanted to see the casino

waiting in line to watch shrek 4d. it was similar to the one we watched in australia

shrek's swamp
madagascar

jurassic park

ancient egypt where we sat on the only roller coaster for the day coz my stinky sis didn't want to join me for any more. lined up for 40mins, being scared in anticipation and also because it was kinda dark inside, and it was over in 2mins or smth. haha. word of advice: at the end of the line when it's almost your turn, the line splits into 2; take the right fork because the left one is shared with the express pass people so you have to wait longer. but it was fun. my sis n i were screaming the most, even when it stationary. haha.

new york, where we watched a special effects show about hurricane katrina

on the third day, we went shopping on orchard road. lots of sales! and then we went to marina bay sands on the fourth day where they have lots of expensive shops.

their canal rides are sampans instead of gondolas

people are actually standing outside on top, throwing coins down

they have a small ice skating ring in the middle of the food court where there were only kids skating

we thought these 3 people were giving out things but actually their baskets are for people to pay for pictures. haha.

the casino where me, my mom and my dad each put $2 into random slots machines. i won 40c, my mom won 50c, and my dad won $17.88!

then we saw these people performing on these contraptions, swinging in the air. and they're actually ang mohs. australian, i think.

and on the fifth day, we went home. the end. lazy to blog more details. haha. on-call for the next 2 weeks. :(

I'll save your "nobody to date :(" picture and use it as my wallpaper. You look very cute there.
