we had a girls' lunch today at naz's place. i cooked beef spaghetti while van brought dessert and salad. ee lynn joined us for bread pudding. then sidney came to see me for dinner. it was a good christmas. :)

the other day i bought this super cheap supposedly-nonstick pot and pan set from carrefour. actually i only wanted a pot coz the lady took it with her when she moved out. i suppose it could be hers so fine, but she
also took the mop pail which is
MINE. but i guess i can do without it coz i only mop like once or twice a sem. so if i need it maybe i can borrow yours, naz? hehe.
but i digress. back to the pot and pan. the set was even cheaper than the a pot by itself so being a cheapskate, i got the set. last night i washed them and cooked maggi in the pot. it stank. it was kinda a burnt smell, but not quite. but i ignored it and didn't understand why until, well, i can't remember how i realised it, but it was because of the pot. by then, i'd already and eaten the noddles. so i boiled water in the pot and pan a few times and left them to soak. then today i came home from uni and found some rust. and the smell is still there. bleagh. what a waste.
then i went to find alvin at michelle's place to collect rent and told him about it. i came home with a pan which he says belonged the the previous tenant of this apartment, 4 packets of beepang which his mom gave him and he doesn't want, and 2 persimmons. i didn't even know what the fruits were. i just made a guess at the name, googled it, and discovered i was right. here's a pic of a persimmon, in case you don't know.
right. anyway, the moral of this story is: don't be so cheapskate. and carrefour scams people. there's some scam about the milo, i think, and something else, i can't remember what. so yea, be carreful of carrefour. haha.

last night i dreamt that my teeth were falling out. it started from the back of my upper jaw. first the tooth was shaky, then it came out, and the next one was shaky. by the time i'd lost 4 teeth all the teeth on my upper jaw were shaky. i panicked and smsed my mom to bring me to the dentist to save them. i can't remember what happened next.
it's not the first time i've dreamt about losing my teeth. ugh. how scary.
the big 20
i had a great birthday this year. sid came over at midnight to give me my present. then i celebrated with the pharmers plus sree, kah heng and ten-ni for lunch. after class, sid and i went to times square to watch cinta, which is actually pretty good. upon arriving home, i received a totally unexpected surprise in my bedroom. :D thanks to everyone who celebrated my birthday with me. i had a wonderful time. i love you guys!!
